When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and optionally your school affiliation. When you upload curriculum resources, we store the files you submit along with the metadata you provide (title, description, subject, grade level, pricing, and hashkafa tag).

We also collect usage data such as download counts and ratings to help surface quality resources to other educators.

2. How We Use Your Information

To operate your account and authenticate you securely
To display your uploaded resources and public profile information to other users
To process downloads and track resource popularity
To send transactional emails related to your account (password resets, purchase confirmations)
To improve the platform based on aggregated usage patterns

3. Information We Share

We do not sell your personal information. Your name and school (if provided) are displayed publicly alongside resources you upload. Your email address is never shared with other users or third parties except as required by law.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure servers. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and never stored in plain text. Authentication uses short-lived, signed JWT tokens stored in secure, HTTP-only cookies.

5. Your Rights

You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at [email protected]. Resources you have uploaded may be removed upon request. You may also update your profile information from your account settings.

6. Cookies

We use a single authentication cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
